Young Entrepreneur Society Ltd (YES) was founded by Carly Ward in 2009 when at only 19 years old at the time, she was unemployed and wanted to start a business. There was little help to guide her and no jobs to satisfy what she wanted in life, so cutting a long story short, she decided to create a programme that teaches young people entrepreneurial and life skills. The company has thrived ever since and is now known as YES Education and YES Network under the YES banner of Young Entrepreneurs Success Ltd.
Carly contacted some of the top entrepreneurs in the UK to ask them how they began their amazing journeys and what made them super successful in life. Most of those she contacted agreed to see her and share their experiences in recorded interviews. It is these interviews that have now become an integral part of The 12 Steps to Success Programme.
Young Entrepreneur Society was first supported by The Prince's Trust and later on, Fredericks Foundation also supported the company. The help and mentoring from both organisations has been vital to the development of YES.
YES has has social objectives and is not primarily driven by the need to maximize profits for the owners but to reinvest surpluses into the business or community.
New and established young entrepreneurs - YES offers network membership to the YES Network, the first and only network for young entrepreneurs under the age of 35. This is the first ‘hub’ for young entrepreneurs to socialise, learn and grow together in a fun atmosphere.
Education centres and Councils - YES also works with education centres and councils delivering The 12 Steps To Success programme. The 12 Steps Programme is suitable for the age group 16 to 24 and is accepted into the school curriculum for enterprise learning and is also suitable for young unemployed as an introduction to business and entrepreneurship. YES offers workshops over 5 days to help young unemployed find a new and exciting path in life - education centres can integrate the programme into the curriculum or start a Business Club as an after school/college activity.
Private individuals may also subscribe to the programme – anyone can take part, there are no exclusions.
Future employment and the prosperity of the entire world depends on fresh talent, ideas and energy of the emerging youth – they are the ones who will mold the core future of global business and economic growth. Everyone deserves the right to take part and contribute to the world’s future and Young Entrepreneur Society will lay down the foundations for young people to become our future great leaders and captains of industry.
We are about making dreams come true, there are no limits and we will help and encourage all young people to reach their full potential. Anyone who takes the time to go through our 12 Step Programme can start to really plan their future and become successful in life. Click The 12 Steps and start now!
