Set aside a distraction-free time for planning your day, week, month, or year. Create a to-do list which will help define and clarify your priorities for the day or the weeks ahead.
- Prioritize projects or goals. There always seem to be a lot of things that need to be done when setting up or managing a business. It would be tempting to do more and spread yourself out thinking you it will help you accomplish more. But this approach often leads to considerable stress and burnout. Think of entrepreneurship as a marathon than a sprint. As such, you have to develop the stamina to take your business as far and as successfully as you can. To do this, you have to learn to prioritize projects or goals. Focus on things that matter most that support your business and life goals. You can either delegate or let go of the rest.
- Set measurable goals and deadlines. Measurable goals make it easier to keep track and evaluate your progress. Set clear deadlines. This adds a sense of urgency to the tasks involved and will encourage accountability.
